What we work on

Business, career and life. Wherever you want to go next.

Bring a business goal, a career decision or a personal change you keep putting off. You set the direction; we build the plan, the habits and the accountability to get you there.

Business & career

Small business coaching

Run the business without it running you. Priorities, pricing confidence, systems, time and the decisions you keep parking — with a sounding board who runs a business and knows the pressure.

Good fit if you
  • are working in the business, not on it
  • have more ideas than time or structure
  • want someone to hold you to the plan

Start-ups & scaling

From idea to first customers, or from flat-out to sustainable. Test the idea, plan the launch, set up simple systems, and work out when and how to bring people on.

Good fit if you
  • have an idea and need a clear first 90 days
  • are growing faster than your systems
  • are weighing up your first hire or contractor

Career coaching

Next role, promotion, new direction, return to work or a complete change. Get clear on what you want, map your transferable skills, and go into applications and interviews with confidence.

Good fit if you
  • feel stuck or undervalued where you are
  • are changing industries or retraining
  • want a plan for the next step up
Life & personal change

Lifestyle & personal change

Routines, health habits, time, energy, a move or a fresh start. Turn “I should” into habits that hold, with structure and accountability between sessions.

Good fit if you
  • keep starting and stopping the same change
  • are going through a move or a new chapter
  • want better balance between work and life

Relationships

Communication, boundaries and the relationships that matter to you — at home, at work and with family. Get clear on what you want from them and how to ask for it.

Good fit if you
  • want to handle hard conversations better
  • find it hard to say no or set limits
  • want to understand different communication styles

Money & finances

Budgeting habits, spending patterns, savings goals and the confidence to face the numbers — personal or business. Practical systems and accountability so money stops being the thing you avoid.

Good fit if you
  • know what to do but don’t stick to it
  • want a simple system for your money
  • are separating business and personal finances

Coaching has limits, and I’ll be upfront about them. Money coaching isn’t financial, tax, credit or legal advice — where you need that, I’ll point you to a licensed adviser, an accountant or a free financial counsellor. Relationship coaching isn’t couples counselling or therapy. If what you need sits outside coaching, I’ll tell you and help you find the right support.

How it works

Coaching, not counselling.

Coaching looks forward. We start where you are, get clear on where you want to be, and build the steps to close the gap — with real accountability along the way.

  • You set the goal. Your agenda drives every session — I bring the questions, structure and honesty.
  • Small steps, real momentum. Every session ends with clear actions you can actually do.
  • Held accountable. Check-ins between sessions keep you moving when motivation dips.

Your coach

Hi, I’m Natasha Purton.

Why work with me? Because I’ve done the things I coach. I run my own business, I’m building a new organisation from the ground up, I’ve changed direction in my career more than once, and I’ve packed up and relocated interstate.

My working life has been about helping adults learn, lead and move forward. I’m a trainer, assessor and program designer across leadership, management, project management and business, and I’ve worked in business development, community services, real estate and veteran advocacy — supporting people through big transitions. I keep studying because I believe in doing what I ask of clients: set the goal, do the work, keep growing.

Why coaching, not counselling? My mental health and community services training means I know when coaching is the right tool — and when it isn’t. If you need a different kind of support, I’ll tell you.

How my background helps you

Experience that maps to your goal.

Whatever you’re working on, here’s what I bring to it.

If you run a small business

I run one too. I know the cash-flow nerves, the admin creep and the pull to do everything yourself — and I’ve built the plans, systems and financial models to manage it. Business qualifications going back more than 20 years — from small business management to an advanced diploma — back up the lived experience.

If you’re starting up or scaling

I’m building a regulated training organisation from scratch: business plan, financial model, policies, marketing, website and a staffing plan for growth. I know what “getting ready to grow” actually involves, and I bring project management discipline to it.

If you’re changing careers

I’ve worked across training, leadership development, business development, community services and real estate, and retrained as an adult more than once. As a trainer and assessor, I help adults turn experience into evidence — and into the next role.

If you’re making a personal change

I’ve relocated interstate and rebuilt my routines around remote work. Change sticks when it has structure, and designing structured learning that people actually follow through on is what I’ve done for years.

If it’s about relationships

As an accredited DISC practitioner with mental health and community services training, I bring practical tools for understanding how you and others communicate. I’m also trained to recognise domestic and family violence, and I know where coaching stops and counselling starts.

If it’s about money

I’m studying the Diploma of Financial Counselling and manage the finances of my own business. We work on habits, systems and confidence with money; for advice, I’ll point you to a licensed professional.

Got a question first?

Send a quick message and I’ll get back to you within one business day.

Is coaching the same as counselling? +
No. Coaching is future-focused — goals, action and accountability. If you’re dealing with distress, trauma or mental-health concerns, therapy or counselling is the better fit, and I’ll happily point you there.
Do you coach small business owners and start-ups? +
Yes. Business coaching covers priorities, planning, systems, time, pricing confidence and growth — from first idea to your first hire. I run my own business, so I know the pressure from the inside.
Is money coaching financial advice? +
No. We work on budgeting habits, spending patterns, savings goals and building a system you’ll stick to. I don’t give financial product, tax, credit or legal advice. If you need that, I’ll refer you to a licensed adviser or accountant, or to a free financial counsellor through the National Debt Helpline (1800 007 007).
Can you help with my relationship? +
Coaching can help you communicate more clearly, set boundaries and get clear on what you want from your relationships. It isn’t couples counselling or therapy. If a relationship feels unsafe, contact 1800RESPECT (1800 737 732), or 000 in an emergency.
Can my business pay for coaching? +
Yes. I can issue a tax invoice to your business. Check with your accountant about how it’s treated for your circumstances.
Which package should I pick? +
Micro Reset for a one-off nudge, Steady for calm sustainable progress, Momentum when you want fast, focused change. Unsure? Book the free discovery call and we’ll choose together.
What happens on the discovery call? +
It’s a free 20-minute video chat. We talk about where you are, what you want to change, and whether coaching is the right fit. If it is, I’ll recommend a package. There’s no cost and no obligation to go ahead. More about the discovery call.
Can I pay by instalments? +
Yes. You can pay for your package upfront, or spread the Momentum and Steady programs over equal fortnightly instalments. The first instalment is due when you book and the rest come off your card automatically. Micro Reset sessions are paid at the time of booking. Full details are in the Coaching Terms and Conditions.
Can I do single sessions instead of a package? +
Yes — the Micro Reset is booked one session at a time with no ongoing commitment, and one-off standard sessions can be arranged. Packages work out better value if you’re committing to a goal.
What if I need to reschedule? +
Life happens. Reschedule via the link in your confirmation email up to 24 hours before your session. See the Coaching Terms and Conditions for cancellations and refunds.
Is there a contract? +
Yes. Before your first paid session you’ll receive the Coaching Terms and Conditions and a short coaching agreement to sign electronically. It sets out what’s included, payment, rescheduling, confidentiality and how either of us can end the arrangement.
How are sessions delivered? +
Over secure video, so you can join from anywhere in Australia. You’ll just need a private space and a stable connection.
